Abstract
PURPOSE: A spinneret, having the inner surfaces of a dish-like spinneret plate and spinning holes coated with TiN, and capable of improving the abrasion resistance of the inner surface of the extruding holes and outlet propheries and the lubricity of the inner surfaces of the spinneret and the spinning holes.
CONSTITUTION: A spinneret having the inner surfaces of a dish-like spinneret plate 3 having a flange 2 at the outer periphery thereof and many spinning holes 6 perforated at the bottom of the inner surface coated with TiN 7. The spinneret has the lubricity due to the coating of the TiN 7, and the spinning liquid flowing into the dish-like spinneret plate 3 in the spinning is made to flow smoothly due to the very low flow resistance thereof. Thus, all the flows of the spinning liquid into the spinning holes 6 at the peripheral and the central parts of the spinneret 1' are very smooth, and the release of filaments in the spinning is improved. The outer peripheries of the outlets of the extruding holes 5 have the abrasion resistance due to the coating of TiN 7, and will not be abraded even in use for a long term. Therefore, the unevenness in denier will not occur.
