CONSTITUTION:At the transmission section, an original signal (a) is made for the mB-nB conversion by dividing the signal into words W0, W1-Wp-1, Wp+1- W2p-1 in each m-bit, but no mB-nB conversion is made for specific words of a constant interval, W0, Wp, W2p-, and a frame bit or a spare bit (x) is simply added to the original signal for transmission. At the reception side, a frame synchronizing is taken through the frame bit to separate the spare bit (x). Further, for the words W1-Wp-1, Wp+1- not including the frame bit or the spare bit (x), the mB-nB inversion is made to restore the original signal and for the words W0, Wp, W2p- including the frame bit or the spare bit (x), the remaining bits after separation of the frame bit or the spare bit are picked up as they are without the mB-nB inversion.
