Abstract
PURPOSE:To pick up accurate frame information from a received data stream quickly, by using the nature of autocorrelation of scramble codes without the insertion of a frame synchronizing signal in data. CONSTITUTION:To each one bit of a specified number of data bits a1-a31, a data DT1 of one frame added substantially with a parity bit, and a scramble code M series SC1 in bits b1-b31 equal to that of the data DT1 of one frame added with a redundant bit O for each one bit are mutually synchronized for scrambling to transmit a transmission data stream TDT. At the reception side, the transmission data TDT and the M series SC1 the same as that used at the transmission side are descrambled with the same position relation at scrambling, allowing to make parity check, and the frame synchronism can be detected by varying the relation of position between the data stream TDT and the scramble code M series SC1 until the result becomes correct.
