Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve fluid shutting-off function without complicating constitution of a shut-off valve more than necessary in the case captioned flow regulator valve capable of selecting the feed speed of a movable member available for a machine tool to be high, medium and low. CONSTITUTION:When a shut-off valve is operated mechanically by one step with a step portion 91a of a cam plate 91, a poppet 52 closes a pilot path 14 and a poppet 51 closes a main path 13 to shut off satisfactorily fluid, so that flow directed from a second port 12 to a first port 11 can be accurately adjusted by the first variable throttle valve 30. Also, when the shut-off valve is operated by two steps with the lower end 91b of the cam plate 91, a valve spool 53 closes further a bypass path 16 to shut off satisfactorily fluid, so that fluid flow directed from the second port 12 to the first port 11 is accurately adjusted by both throttle valves 30, 40.
