Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase a number of speed change shifts without causing the necessity for increasing axial dimensions of a speed changer, by providing a 4-speed change shift driving line from an input shaft through an intermediate shaft to an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:4-Speed shift driving line 6-4 comprises the first gear 21, integrally combined to a 1-speed shift driving gear 8 on an input shaft 2, the second gear 22, meshed to the first gear 21 and on an intermediate shaft 20, and the third gear 23, meshed to a 2-speed shift driving gear 12 and on the intermediate shaft 20, here the third gear 23 is fixed to the intermediate shaft 20, and the second gear 22 is formed in freely rotating state, then a 4-speed clutch 24, connected with the second gear 22 to the intermediate shaft 20, is provided on the intermediate shaft 20. If a 1-speed clutch 7 and the 4-speed clutch 24 are simultaneously engaged, the input shaft 2 is connected to an output shaft 3 through the 1-speed clutch 7, gears 21, 22, 4-speed clutch 24, intermediate shaft 20, third gear 23, 2-speed shift driving gear 12, 2-speed shift driven gear 13 and forward reverse selective mechanism 16, thus the 4-speed shift driving line 6-4 can be established.
