Abstract

PURPOSE:To project the characters and marks read by an image sensor on a screen, by obtaining two image forming surfaces formed by a lens system by means of a half-mirror. CONSTITUTION:The light is irradiated from a light source 3 to the paper 1 on which the characters, marks, etc. are written, and this reflected light forms an image through a lens system 4. An image sensor 5 consisting of plural photoelectric transducers is set on the image forming surface. Thus the images of the characters and marks are converted into electric signals, and a pattern is displayed on a CRT via a binary coding circuit 6 and a discriminating circuit 8. On the other hand, a half-mirror 10 is set between the lens system 4 and the sensor 5. The characters and marks formed into images through the system 4 are transmitted through an image fiber 11 and projected on a screen 13.
