Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the safety and the fire prevention and at the same time to shorten the working time, by limiting the heated part to the reinforced part by making use of the dielectric heating for the heating means. CONSTITUTION:When the reinforcement is given to the melt-stuck and connected part 15 of an optical fiber core wire which is connected by the hot-melt process, the part 15 of the optical fiber core wires 11 and 11 is put through the inside of a reinforcing member 1 containing an adhesive resin layer on its inner surface. Then the adhesive resin layer is melted by the dielectric heating and the periphery of the part 15 of the wire 11 is adhered to the member 1. In such way, the time required for the reinforcement of the part 15 can be shortened, and furthermore the heated part is limited to the inside of the member 1 owing the dielectric heating process. As a result, both safety and fire prevention can be enhanced. In addition, the stability is increased to the external force like the bending, tension, etc.
