Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A heating roller 10 for fixing of an electrostatic copying machine is constituted of a thin walled Al straight cylindrical part 13 and stainless steel revolving shaft parts 15 at both ends thereof. A heater 12 for heating is inserted in the inside thereof and the surface is applied with fluororesin coating 16. In the stage of connecting the part 13 and the shafts 15, guiding insertion holes 18 which are inclined to the inner side in the radial direction are provided over the entire circumference of the joining end faces 17 of the parts 15, and the part 13 is butted thereto then the parts 15 are rotated, by which the Al of the part 13 is fitted into the holes 18 and both are joined firmly. Since the leading ends of the holes 18 are inclined inward, the part 13 will not come out from the parts 15.
