Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a paint curing tape by continuously feeding and partially overlapping two flexible tapes each having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one side and a releasing surface on the other side thereof under a proper pressure with both adhesive layers facing each other.
CONSTITUTION: Two flexible tapes 20 and 22 having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 12 or 12' on one side thereof and a releasing surface 14 or 14' on the other side thereof are continuously fed in the direction of the arrow so that they are partially overlapped with both the pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 12 and 12' facing each other and the layers 12 and 12' are stuck together by a pressing force of a press roll 18 to form a single paint curing tape 10. This facilitates preparation of a paint curing tape on the site while reducing the production cost drastically.
