Abstract

PURPOSE: An oiling agent composition for treating fibers especially useful for nylon, polyester, etc., preventing itself from being converted into tar with much smoke and from coloring at high temperature, obtained by blending an oiling agent with an alkylthiocarbonic ester of polynucleus polyhydric phenol.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt oiling agent is blended with 0.01W10pts.wt. (preferably 0.1W5pts.wt.) alkylthiocarboxylic ester of polynucleus polyhydric phenol shown by the formulaI(R is 1W50C alkyl; A is bivalentWtetravalent polynycleus polyhydric phenol; n is 1W5; a is 1W4; b is 0W3), to give the desired composition. Esters shown by the formulas IIWIV(R is 16W18 mixed alkyl) may be cited as the above-mentioned ester.
