Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition improved in processing stability and the thermal stability of a molding in actual use, by mixing a composition comprising a polyolefin and a halogenated flame retardant with a specified phenol compound, a pentaerythritol diphosphite compound and an epoxy compound. CONSTITUTION:A flame-retarding composition comprising a polyolefin and a halogenated flame retardant is mixed with a phenol compound of formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are each H or 1-8C alkyl groups which may be the same or different), a pentaerithritol diphosphite compound and an epoxy compound, wherein the last two components are used in an amount of 0.01-1pt.wt. per 100pts.wt. said polyolefin, respectively.
