Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the operation cost of a heat recovery boiler and a driving device by using directly part of steam generated by the heat recovery boiler as a driving source for the driving device, and to control the flow amount of a circulating fan by making it follow the load change of coke cooling column.
CONSTITUTION: An inert cooling gas discharged from the coke cooling column 1 to the circulating path 2 is sent to the dust collector 4 where dust is removed, and transported to the heat recovery boiler 3. While, boiler water sent from the water pump 9 to the economizer 8 is changed into warm water by the high-temperature inert gas flowing in the heat recovery boiler 3. The warm water is converted into steam and made into high-temperature high-pressure steam by the superheater 6. Part of the high-temperature high-pressure steam fed to the introduction pipe 12 is sent to the steam turbine 13 and used as a driving energy. The circulating fan 5 is operated by the rotary drive of the turbine 13 so that the inert gas of the circulating path 2 is sent and circulated. Low-pressure steam which is used in the turbine 13 to reduce its pressure is sent to the deaerator 10.
