Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent papers from meandering feeding by slanting the rear of a side face of a manuscript tray along the feeding direction of manuscripts upward. CONSTITUTION:One side face 5-1 of a manuscript tray 5 along the feeding direction of manuscripts is bent at a right angle for dashing end faces of manuscripts 6 for regulation. The rear of another side face 5-2 is slanted upward. Consequently, ends of loaded manuscripts 6 are set with slanting to meet with the structure of the manuscript tray 5. When manuscripts 6 are slanted in their ends, they are constantly pushed toward the side face 5-1 of the manuscript tray 5 bent at a right angle. In this construction, the manuscripts 6 loaded on the manuscript tray 5 can be fed along the side face 5-1 without slanting or meandering.
