CONSTITUTION:To input terminals 172-175 of an FM modulator 17, a control signal whose level is changed in accordance with a magnetic tape to be used is inputted. To an input terminal 171, a recording video luminance signal of signal voltage e1 which has received preemphasis and clip is inputted. Subsequently, it passes through an emitter following circuit consisting of a transistor Q4, a bus controller C1, etc., and also passes through a bus controller C2. Signal voltage e2 in case of passing through the bus controller C2 is varied in accordance with a magnetic tape to be used.
