Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a control system by calculating the manipulated value of a gate valve on the basis of a desired flow rate and last and present actual measured flow rates and extents of opening, and then obtaining the initial desired flow rate by operating the gate valve appproximately. CONSTITUTION:When the extent of opening of a gate valve is P and the flow rate at this is Q, P=KQ. For this purpose, the coefficient K is calculted from the last extent of opening Pi-1 and flow rate Qi-1 and the present extent of opening Pi and flow rate Qi. Further, a difference DELTAQi between a desired flow rate Qa and present flow rate Qi is found, and then multiplied by an approximate speed coefficient (r) to calcuate a present desired value DELTAQi+1 of variation in flow rate. Then, variation DELTAPi+1 in extent of opening equivalent to the DELTAQi+1 is calculated. The variation Pi+1 is added to the present extent of opening Pi to calculate a following desired extent of opening Pi+1, and thus the manipulated value of the gate valve is found to control the extent of opening of the gate valve. This operation is repeated at intervals of adequate halt time to control the extent of opening of the gate valve approximately to the initial desired flow rate position.
