Abstract

CONSTITUTION: (A) 100pts.wt. epoxy resin powder having Duran melting point 40W200°C and an epoxy equivalent 100W5,000, passing through 60 mesh (preferably a bisphenol A type epoxy resin having Duran melting point 40W160°C) is blended with (B) 1W100pts.wt. acid anhydride powder having a melting point 40W 300°C (preferably trimellitic anhydride, pyromellitic anhydride, etc.), passing through 60 mesh, and (C) 20W200pts.wt. polyol powder having a melting point 40W100°C and a molecular weight 4,000W40,000, passing through 60 mesh (preferably polyethlene glycol or polypropylene glycol) in dry state, to give the desired coating compound.
