PURPOSE:To provide a surveying device that does not require use of tape by providing scale graduation on parallel lines starting as base point from the intersection which is made by a straight line that passes the base point and intersects perpendicularly the base line and parallel line and by providing a rotating dial that has the original point of the base line as its axis and by providing alidade on the dial. CONSTITUTION:A surveyor selects the measuring point M1 and the original point P, and sets up an L-shaped right-angled pole 1 with its supporting leg 7 standing upright so that the cylindrical leg 6 coincides with the measuring point M1, and the pole 1 is supported horizontally with a circular level 4, and the original point P is sighted with an alidade 5 on the shorter axis 2.
