Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize output control operation, by a method wherein error control information from output control sensor unit is combined with pulsating current information produced by operation of a main switch and the synthesized information is used to drive the main switch. CONSTITUTION:In an output conrol sensor 3, reference source (e.g. voltage VREF) is compared with output voltage Vout, and error control voltage VEC is generated and applied to a reference source terminal 6. Pulsating current component by a main switch in a power converting unit 1 is extracted and AC voltage v thereof is entered through a transformer T. The AC voltage v and the error control voltage VEC are synthesized and the synthesized signal is entered to a duty control unit 4. The synthesized information VEC+v is used as element for negative feedback loop operation, and voltage-time conversion is carried out according to the error control voltage VEC and inclination of time variation of the AC voltage v, thereby duty control of the main switch in the power converting unit 1 is carried out so that output from an output terminal 8 is stabilized.
