Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent misdetection of a reference burst and a signal burst, by starting the acquisition of the burst of itself after the reception of the reference burst without error and performing processing as the end of burst detection even if an error within 2 bits is detected. CONSTITUTION:A reception serial data from an input terminal 1 is applied to a reference burst synchronizing pattern comparator 4 and a signal burst synchronizing pattern comparator 5 via an S-P converter 2 and comparison by each one bit is made with a prescribed pattern. When the reference burst is received without error, a flip-flop 9 is set. On the other hand, a count circuit 6 transmits a logic ''1'' to an AND circuit 14 when >=m-2 bits is coincident among the synchronizing pattern of m bits. Further, the self-burst transmission at the start of acquisition is made after a reference burst detecting output is caused at a terminal 17, and an AND gate is opened until the acquisition is finished with an output from a signal burst detection gate signal generator and the gate is opened only before and after the signal burst synchronizing pattern detection.
