Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance, by adding a conductive member to the 1st and 2nd function members respectively and securing a contact between both conductive members when the 2nd function member is at the loading position to form a conductive path. CONSTITUTION:A belt-shaped photoreceptor 1, i.e., the 1st function member consists of the highest photoconductive layer 11, an intermediate conductive layer 13 which is one of the mobile conductive members, and the lowest base layer 15. The conductive member 17 of the other side contains a brush in which a metallic filament 17a of carbon, etc. is implanted to a conductive supporter 17b. The supporter 17b is connected electrically to an earth 23. At the same time, the supporter 17b is fixed to a discharger, i.e., the 2nd function member such as a single side plate of a charger 6. When the charger 6 is inserted to a prescribed loading position, the brush 17a touches the surface 13a of the conductive layer to form a conductive path. When the charger 6 is drawn out of a device, the brush 17a detaches from the surface 13a to open the conductive path.
