Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the impedance of a conductive path lower to stablilize the recording of a recording device for a long time, by bringing the first moving conductive member, where a conductive filament is fitted to the surface, into contact with the second moving conductive member. CONSTITUTION:A brush 17 as the first conductive member is constituted by planting filaments consisting of metals or carbon radially onto a shaft 19 consisting of metals or conductive rubber. A photoconductive layer 11 charged uniformly generatrs conductivity only in a place exposed to light and is connected to an earth 21 through a conductive layer 13 and the brush, which is brought into contact with the conductive layer 13, to approximate the potential to the earth potential. Further, since the brush 17 is rotated, different parts are always brought into contact with the conductive layer 13 to restrain the impedance of a conductive path to a low value. Consequently, the recording of a recording device or the like is held stably for a long time.
