Abstract
PURPOSE: A covering composition useful for a coated article, etc. having low mar resistance, having improved surface hardness, wear resistance flexibility, dyeability, stability for coating compound, durability, etc., comprising a vinyl polymer containing a specific group, ultrafine silica, and amine resin.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A vinyl polymer (e.g., polymer of vinyltriethoxy-silane, etc.) containing a group shown by the formula (R1 is methyl or ethyl; R2 is ≤4C alkyl, acryl, etc.; S is linked to polymer through Si-C bond; m is 0, 1, or 2) is blended with (B) ultrafine silica having an average particle diameter of 1W 200mμ, and (C) an amino resin (e.g., dimethylol urea, etc.), to give the desired composition. 100pts.wt. component A is blended with 1W70pts.wt. component B, and 70W200pts.wt. component B is preferably used with 100pts.wt. solid substance of component A and 100pts.wt. solid substance of component C.
EFFECT: Dyeable by dye.
USE: For coating inorganic glass, ceramic, etc.
