Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit the smooth transmission of power with lesser amount of noise and vibration by providing plural epicyclic roolers between a conical wheel at the tip of the main driving shaft and the conical inner surface of the body case.
CONSTITUTION: When each of three epicyclic rollers 12 turns by a frictional transmission caused by the rotation of a conical wheel 6 at the tip of the main deriving shaft 5, each epicyclic roller 12 intends to fit with the conical face of the conical wheel 6, whereby leading it to go up to the top (the right-handed base end in Fig.) of the conical wheel 6. However, since the peripheral face of the conical wheel 6 and the conical inner surface of the body case are so designed that the width of the conical annular peripheral aperture S is gradually slightly widened toward the top, each epicyclic roller 12 becomes strongly and frictionally contacted with the conical wheel 6 toward the narrower widthwise direction of the conical annular spherical aperture S. Thus, exact rolling with less sliding can be attained by a strong frictional transmission all the time.
