Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the weight or the like by a method wherein the inlet part of a flat heat pipe equipped with a plurality of partition walls extending toward the direction of flow passage are obliquely cut and connected to a connecting pipe so as to uniformalize the flow rates in the flow passages divided with the partition walls in order to allow to effectively use the whole heating surface of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The flat heat pipe 11 is equipped with a plurality of partition walls extending toward the direction of the axis of the pipe 11 for reinforcement. The connecting end part of said heat pipe 11 is obliquely cut and the obliquely cut part is insertedly fixed to the connecting pipe 13 so as to connect the connecting pipe 13 and the heat pipe 11 in perpendicularly intersecting manner with each other in order to make each open end of the respective passages a-d of the heat pipe 11 obliquely oppose to the influx direction B of refrigerant in the connecting pipe 13. The refrigerant enters the connecting pipe 13 and, after that, flows into the respective passages a-d of the flat heat pipe 11, the end of which is obliquely cut, as indicated with the arrows B and is heat-exchanged with the air flowing outside the heat pipe 11 as indicated with the arrows A.
