Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a heat loss by a method wherein a temperature is regulated by operating the dam by a bimetal operating with respect to the temperature of a fluid in a temperature regulator used for a steam room heater or the like. CONSTITUTION:The dam is opened or closed by sliding the inner dam 8 by means of the bimetal detecting the temperature of the fluid flowed into the dam from an inlet port 11. The regulator may be set at any optional temperature by turning a manual handle 1 to slide the outer dam. Thus, the regulator is operated in responding to the temperature of the fluid, therefore, the heat loss may be reduced.
