Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An oxygen-feeding agent is prepared by mixing powdery or granular sodium percarbonate with at least one selected from alkaline earth metal silicates, colloidal silicic acid and aluminum silicate, forming the mixture and then caking the mixture in carbonic acid gas. As the alkaline earth metal silicate may be used magnesium ortho-silicate, calcium silicate or the like. The rate of the silicate or colloidal silicic acid is 0.01W10wt%, preferably 0.05W 5wt%, as SiO2 by weight of sodium percarbonate. When the obtained oxygen- feeding agent is added to sea water, the agent is gradually dissolved from its surface to elute sodium percarbonate. Consequently, oxygen can be fed into the sea water, without fling up fludge from the sea bottom.
