CONSTITUTION:In boring the ground, a boring rod 7 is thrust into a boring machine 5, and the boring machine is vertically moved by means of an oil-pressure motor 8 while turning the boring rod 7 by a driving motor for boring. Also, when surveying soil, where a Dutch type cone penetration testing method is used, for example, a double pipe is inserted into the boring machine in such a way as to enable a mantle cone to be attached to the tip of the rod, the mantle cone is connected to the tip of the rod, the boring machine is lowered by the oil-pressure motor 8 until the mantle cone is penetrated to a desired depth, and then the double pipe with the boring machine is raised.
