Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device having high reliability and a low cost, by actuating a bistable mechanism to suck in a cassette in the loading mode of the cassette and then actuating a carriage with a motor to shift the cassette horizontally up to a midway position in the discharging mode of the cassette respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette is guided and loaded by lifters 80a and 80b, the rising part 88b of a guide basement 88 and a cassette guide plate 62, the edge part of the cassette touches the bent part 44d of a carriage 44. Thus a catch 96a of a cassette hook member 96 is fitted to the pinch roller inserting hole of the cassette. When the cassette is pushed further inside, the carriage 44 moves toward A along with the cassette. At the same time, a gear 50 turns counterclockwise. Then the energizing force of a spring 100 changes to the clockwise direction from the counterclockwise direction, and accordingly the carriage 44 receives the energizing force of the direction A to be pulled into the inner part. On the contrary, the energizing force of the gear 50 changes to the clockwise direction from the counterclockwise direction when the cassette is discharged. As a result, the carriage 44 functions to discharge the cassette toward B.
