Abstract
PURPOSE:To equally distribute a submixture to subcombustion chambers in left and right both cylinder rows without being disturbed by main mixture distributor routes. CONSTITUTION:A submixture, generated in a carburetor Ca, flows into a primary subdistributor chamber 22 from a subintroduction port 20, and is distributed to left and right secondary subdistributor chambers 22' through two primary subdistributor passages 25 from the chamber 22, then distributed to plural secondary distributor passages 25' in the chamber 22', finally sucked to each subintake port 11. A main distributor chamber 21 comprises an upper stage chamber 21a and a lower stage chamber 21b, formed to larger volume than said chamber 21a and communicated to said chamber 21a through a communication holes 23, and three main branch passages 24, connected from left and right both side walls of this lower stage chamber 21b to a main intake port 10 of each cylinder row C1, C2, are extensibly formed. In this way, distribution routes of the submixture are almost symmetrically arranged without being disturbed by the main distributor chamber, and the submixture can be equally distributed to subcombustion chambers in left and right cylinder rows.
