Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to start a DC brushless motor by energizing a coil at the position of stably stopping a rotor by forming two teeth at an armature core on which the coil is wound in a rotating direction and suitably selecting each reluctance. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 1 is formed of 4-pole permanent magnet. 8 semi-closed slots 6 are formed at a stationary armature 3, and steps which vary in large and small magnitudes at the respective teeth are formed in air gap length between the slots. A tooth 7 having small air gap and a tooth 8 adjacent to the rear with respect to the rotating direction are regarded as being a set of pole, and coils 9a, 9b which are commonly wound on the teeth 7, 8 in difference phase of 90 deg. with each other. When the coils 9a, 9b are energized, this motor can be started even if the rotor 1 is disposed at any position.
