Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a current transformer small-sized, by fetching a voltage pulse which is exactly proportional to a current value of a current pulse, when a duty circuit whose off-time is below constant is opened and closed, and two-way current pulses flowing in two directions alternately only at its off-time exist in this circuit. CONSTITUTION:To one terminal (c) of a secondary winding in a current transformer 1 consisting of a primary side winding and a secondary side winding having a terminal (d) of a middle point, the anode of a diode 2 is connected, and to the other terminal (e), the anode of a diode 3 is connected. Between the connecting point of the respective cathodes of these diodes 2, 3, and the terminal (d), a series circuit consisting of a switch 6 and a resistance 4 is connected, and also a constant voltage diode 5 is connected in parallel with this series circuit. It is possible to always obtain voltage which is exactly proportional to a current value of a two-way current pulse, by opening the switch during the suitable period in which a current pulse finishes its flowing in some direction of the primary side of a transformer 1 and a current pulse in the direction being opposite to said current pulse starts its flowing, and annihilating an energizing current generated in the transformer by making it flow to a constant-voltage diode 5 of proper voltage.
