Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress obstruction by a moving phase and ammonia and at the same time raise sensitivity to cyclic aminoacids by making a specimen react with an oxidizing agent under the existence of the buffer solution of a metallic salt and then making the specimen react with a fluorescent reagent. CONSTITUTION:After cleaning liquid 26 and a first moving phase 23 are made to flow from a liquid conveying section 12, specimen is poured from a specimen supply section 13, and further, a first, second and third moving phases 23-25 are mae to flow through a play column 20. A specimen is separated as needed from a separation column 14, and next it is made to react for more than 5sec in a first reaction coil 16 with an oxidizing reagent 21 that contains chlorous acid sodium solution under the existence of a buffer solution that consists of sodium bicarbonate of pH 9.5-9.9 and sodium carbonate. Next, the specimen is made to react in a second reaction coil 18 for over 30sec in a buffer solution of pH 9.5-9.9 with a fluorescent reagent 22 that has a non-ion surface active agent such as Brij 35 in high concentration.
