Abstract
PURPOSE:To inspect a pressure type level gage while it is held installed by applyig pressure variably to the atmospheric pressure rceiving part of aid gage thereby creating the states of different water pressures equivalently. CONSTITUTION:An inspecting device 3 is mounted to a level gage by fitting its juncture 303a to the vent pipe opening 107a of a pressure receiving device 1. While the inspecting device 3 is held mountd, the atmopheric pressure receiving space 102b of the device 1 is connected to the communicating pipe 303 of the device 3. The pressure of the space 102b is operated artificially by a pressure applying part 301 and the pressure thereof is displayed by a pressure indicating part 302. If a water level H and the position of the sensing part 102 are constant, it turns out that the pressure change of the space 102b changes the water level equivalently, whereby a pressure sensor 110 is calibrated.
