Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable highly precise three-dimentional detection of a target by transmitting correlative informations between scannings made for each angle of elevation to adjacent angles of elevation through the intermediary of distance memories stored for each angle of elevation, thereby performing continuous processes by a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:Scanning by radar beams is made for smaller angles of elevation, and a distance memory 10c corresponding to each angle of elevation etc. and a distance memory 10b corresponding to the angle of elevation immediately before the former, etc. are selected sequentially through the intermediary of selecting circuits 17a 17c. Then, the correlation processing of the hit data of said angle of elevation and the hit data obtained at the time of previous scanning, which are read out of the memory 10c, is made by an inner-elevation-angle correlator 12 through the intermediary of a video quantization unit 2, while angle measurement processing is also conducted based on an antenna signal. As to a target of which the azimuth- direction processing is completed based on the inner-elevation angle correlation, inter-elevation- angle corrlative processing is conducted by an inter-elevation-angle correlator 15 based on thec orrlation information of an adjacent angle of elevation transmitted from the memory 10b of which the similar processing of inner-elevation-angle corrlation is completed. Accordingly, the correlative processing is made continuously by a simple constitution, and thus the highly precise three-dimentional dtection of the target can be performed.
