Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive to attenuate the noise of collision between a vane and a roller by a method wherein slants are provided respectively at the upper tip end of a pin and the groove of the vane abutting thereagainst so that the tip end of the pin of a movable iron core and the groove of the vane are abutted against each other on the slants. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid 9A is conducted to effect a capacity control, the iron core 13 is moved to the left, the pin 15A is abutted against the vane 2A and a gap epsilon3 is produced between the upper end 15b of the pin 15A and the upper end 26b of the groove 26A on the slant 26a of the groove 26A in the vane 2A. Even though the roller 3 is rotated further, the vane 2A is held at the upper- most position thereof by the pin 15, therefore, the sound of collision between the vane 2A and the roller 3 will never be generated and a compression effect therebetween will never be effected. When the supply of the electricity to the solenoid 9A is cut off, the holding condition of the vane 2A will never be released immediately and it will never collide against the roller 3, therefore, the generation of the noise of collision may be prevented.
