Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable adjustment of minute quantity when axes are aligned along with improvement of working efficiency by preparing a supporting axis in parallel to crossing line between two axis supporting surfaces constituting a V groove on one side of an axis supporting table and by making only an axis supporting table in one side rotatable. CONSTITUTION:An axis supporting table 10a is equipped with a V groove 11 comprising two surfaces of an axis supporting surface 12a defined by vertical surfaces placing on them an optical fiber F to be aligned and crossing at a right angle and an axis supporting surface 12b defined by horizontal surfaces. A support axis 13 is defined by a bisector 1 of an included angle between the axis supporting planes 12a, 12b of the axis supporting table 10a in one side and a perpendicular line (m) cross perpendicularly to the bisector on crossing line 14 on which the axis supporting surfaces are crossed, and is fixed with piercing through the axis supporting table 10a in one side such that said axis 13 is in parallel to the crossing line 14 and is crossed to the perpendicular line, and further the one end 15 is fitted in the other axis supproting table 10b along with coupling of the other end 15' to twisting means. Through the situation, with only application of rotatory power to the support axis, adjustment in minute quantity when an optical siber is adjusted is allowed along with improvement of working efficiency.
