PURPOSE:To prevent the whisling sound of wind from entering into the car room without increasing the reaction force of the door by integrally forming a sound insulation plate within the hollow lip of the weather strip of the door with sashes to separate the car room from outside. CONSTITUTION:During running, the whisling sound due to wind is generated at around the drip channel 5 and the door sash 2 and is penetrated through the gap delta to the hollow lip 3a, but prevented from entering into the car room by means of a sound insulation plate 9. This sound insulation plate 9, being formed between the top 3a and the base 3b of the hollow lip, the base 3b acts as the supporting point of the sound insulation plate 9 at the time when the hollow lip 3a is brought against the rim 4 of the car body opening and forced to take an elastic deformation, so that the resultant reaction force will not be increased. Thus, the whisling sound entering into the car room is reduced without increasing the reaction force of the door.
