Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the strength of the rim and to make said rim light- weighted by constituting such that the thickness of well radius portion and the thickness of radius portion curved in the direction of bead seat radius portion from the rising point of said well radius portion can satisfy the prescribed relation in the aluminium alloy rim mounted on a car wheel disc. CONSTITUTION:When bead seat radius portions 1, 1' and well radius portions 2, 2' are dented on the outer pierpheral surface by an elongation processing, and flanges 3, 3' are protruded on the both sides to form an aluminium alloy rim, the wall thickness ta of well radius portions 2, 2' and the thickness tb of a radius portion 6 curved to the bead seat radius portions 1, 1' from the rising point of said well radius portions 2, 2' are made to satisfy a prescribed relation I.
