Abstract
PURPOSE:To grind a work with the same quality or metallic media suitable for the work, by decreasing or increasing bulk density of the metal in accordance with material, shape and weight of the work. CONSTITUTION:A metal 1 of various shape, made of the same quality as, for instance, a work, is formed to small or large virtual specific gravity, that is, bulk density by hollowing the inside of the metal to a hollow 2 or inserting a core unit 3 of specific gravity smaller or larger than of the metal 1 in various shape. In this way, an equal quality or metallic media suitable for shape of the work can be freely obtained, and a barrel can be polished with a media of optimum conditional bulk density to easily perform fine finish and gloss polishing.
