PURPOSE:To obtain an absolute pressure transmission device which is simple in its structure and satisfactory in its characteristics, by constituting a reference pressure chamber of a part of a pressure sensor and a part of a transmission device base body, and enclosing inert gas having prescribed pressure in said chamber. CONSTITUTION:On a base body 12 of a pressure transmission device, a pressure sensor 1 is fixed,and its one surface is exposed to a liquid enclosed chamber 5, and a reference pressure chamber 13 is constituted of the other surface and a part of the base body 12. An inert liquid 6 for enclosing is enclosed in said chamber 5, and the reference pressure chamber 13 is charged with inert gas having pressure P20. When P20 is selected so as to satisfy P20=KtV20betaX293, an output of the pressure sensor 1 does not depend on a temperature. Provided that Kt, V20 and beta denote a coefficient of volume pressure rigidity of a diaphragm 4, volume of the charging liquid chamber 5 at 20 deg.C, and a coefficient of cubical expansion of the charging liquid 6, respectively. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain an absolute pressure transmitssion device which is simple in its structure and satisfactory in its characteristic.
