Abstract

PURPOSE:To always monitor the position of laser beam by constituting a bridge by 2 thin lines and 2 resistors and detecting balance of bridge with the use of variation of resistors by irradiation of the laser beam for working the material to be worked on these thin lines. CONSTITUTION:A bridge consists of thin lines 14a and 14b, and resistors 15a and 15b. Output of bridge is taken out from an amplifier 16. These two thin lines 14a and 14b are located in parallel and laser beam 3 is made incident to these thin lines 14a and 14b. When thin lines 14a and 14b are located in the symmetrical position to the center position of the laser beam 3, output of the amplifier 16 becomes 0, and when laser beam 3 is slided in horizontal direction, output is generated from the amplifier 16.
