Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent destruction of a transformer tank to be generated by pressure rise casued by inside trouble by a method wherein the end parts of reinforcing beams of the upper part tank are connected on the prolonged lines thereof to a reinforcing beam ring of the lower part tank interposing coupling members between them, and C type metal fittings are made to bite flanges of both the tanks to fix the flanges mutually unifying in one body. CONSTITUTION:The end parts of the reinforcing beams 5 provided on the upper tank 3 of the transformer tank 1 are connected on the prolonged lines thereof to the reinforcing beam ring 4 on the highest stage of the lower tank 2 interposing the coupling members 8 equipped by welding between them, the C type metal fittings 7 are made to bite on the whole circumference excluding the coupling members 8 parts of the flanges 2a, 3a of both the tanks connected by welding the outside circumference making the end faces thereof to confront with each other, and the flanges are fixed mutually to be unified in one body by welding, etc. Accordingly destruction to be generated by pressure rise caused by inside trouble is not generated, and the tank having high safety can be obtained.
