Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent deformation due to the internal pressure of a tank by bending inside the lower part of an upper frame of a framework for the sealed type tank or fixing a reinforcement on the inside thereabout. CONSTITUTION:The upper frame 11 is made by welding top bands 11a, 11b which are provided through bending a strap plate in inverted L shape. The lower end of a long side is bent rectangularly inside to provide a reinforcement 12a. A framework is constituted by welding the upper frame 11 on L-shaped struts 4 at four corners of a shallow boxed base plate 3. A corrugated radiator is welded on a side of the fremework. Since the upper frame 11 which is easy to deform due to a fluctuation of internal pressures is reinforced thus structually around its lower part, a weld with the radiator in contact with the upper frame is prevented from failure and hence from oil leakage, thus obtaining a sealed transformer moderate in cost and high in reliability.
