Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable detection of the rotating speed of a DC motor with an induced voltage of the motor by providing a time zone in which no current flows through the motor and sampling an inverted induced voltage during this time zone. CONSTITUTION:A Schmitt trigger circuit 26 blocks transistors 27, 7 when a current flowing through a motor 9 detected by a resistor 10 rises over the upper side slice level and conducts the transistors 27, 7 when the currnet drops below the lower side slice level. A Schmitt trigger circuit 31 interrupts the transistor 7 when the output voltage of a bridge diode 2 becomes the prescribed level. An operational amplifier 15 conducts transistors 16, 12 when the armature current of the motor 9 is zero and charges the inverted induced voltage of the motor 9 in a capacitor 14. The terminal voltage of the capacitor 14 is applied to an operational amplifier 20 as a rotating speed signal of the motor 9.
