Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a resin composition for the coating of a fluoroplastic film, and capable of imparting the effects of coloring, UV-absorption, antistatic, etc. to the film, by adding various additives to a mixture of a synthetic resin such as epoxy resin, polyester resin, etc. and a pigment.
CONSTITUTION: The objective resin composition for the coating of a fluoroplastic film (e.g. tetrafluoroethylene polymer film) is obtained by compounding (A) a synthetic resin such as epoxy resin, polyester resin, silicone resin, polyurethane resin, etc., as a main component with (B) a heat resistant and light-fast dye or pigment (e.g. metal oxide, calcined cadmium compound, etc.), (C) one or more additives such as UV-absorbent (e.g. phenyl salicylate, benzophenone compound, etc.), surface active agent, antistatic agent (e.g. metallic powder, carbon powder, etc.), etc., (D) a curing agent selected according to the main resin component, and if necessary (E) a stabilizer and a solvent (e.g. toluene, xylene, etc.).
