Abstract
PURPOSE:To restrain the rise in temperature of the wall of a furnace to occur with the use of auxiliary fuel of high calorific value, by installing a steam injector to the air-port of an above-described combustor which is suitable to a combined cycle gas turbine, utilizing gas fuel of low calorific value. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary fuel injection valve 22 is fitted to the center part of an air swirling vanes 23, having the function of a fuel injection valve for the gas of low calorific value in the titled combustor, and a number of heat insulating pieces 24 are provided to the inside wall of a furnace, stepwisely. In addition, a plurality of air-ports 29 are arranged in two rows with equal intervals to the circumferential direction, in the lower part of an inner tube. In these positions, a steam injector which is composed of a sleeve 41, an adjusting bolts 42, spring 43, and a nozzle 40, is installed to an outer casing 21, to accord with the air-ports 29 in the second row so that the steam from an exhaust steam boiler is introduced through a steam pipe 35. When an auxiliary fuel of high calorific value is used, the steam is fed into a steam injector from a steam pipe 35, pushing a nozzle 40 to the side of an air-port 29, to inject steam into a furnace from the nozzle 40.
