Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of measurement of a flow rate, by communicating two liquid storage vessels contracted both end parts in a longitudinal direction at its contracted part and providing an inflow and outflow means of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:Two transparent liquid storage vessels 2, 2' contracted both end parts are communicated in a longitudinal directin at a contracted part 3' and a lower end contracted part 3 is communicated to a liquid outflow and inflow means e.g. a three-way cock 6 and then, an upper end contracted part 3'' is opened to the atmosphere and moreover, a standard position 4 is provided to the part 3 and also, each measuring positions 5 and 5' is provided to each part 3' and 3'' in a fluid flow rate measuring apparatus 1. Now, when a liquid level 7 is reached a lower side position 5 in a predetermined time, the elapsed from the position 4 is measured at the next position 5'. In such a manner, measuring time is more prolonged than the case of a single storage vessel and a reliable mean flow rate can be obtained.
