Abstract

PURPOSE:To feed conditioned air to minimum and sufficient spaces around each audience seat in a limitative manner, by employing such an arrangement that air in an air supply chamber defined between a floor slab and the floor of stair-shaped audience seats is ejected from stepped portions of the floor of audience seats through orifices. CONSTITUTION:An air supply chamber 6 is defined between a floor slab 1 and the floor 2 of stair-shaped audience seats, and ducts 13, 14 extended from an air conditioner are connected to an air-conditioning box 15 disposed on the floor slab 1, so as to eject cooling or heating air as shown by arrows in the drawing. An air outlet port 8 is opened in a stepped portion 3 of each audience seat, and a pipe 20 is fitted into the port 8 in the manner that it opens toward the back of a front seat. Further, an orifice 21 is attached to the end face of the pipe 20 located on the side of the air supply chamber 6. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to raise the pressure of air in the chamber 6 and to issue air uniformly from the pipes 20.
