Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a large inductance with a simple process by a method wherein coils are burid in a U-shape groove of a magnetic material rod and the U-shape groove and gaps of the coils are filled by magnetic material paste and the paste is dried and baked. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic material rod 6 is composed by laminating paste made of kneaded magnetic material powder on polyester film by printing. A magnetic material rod 7 with a U-shape groove is composed by grooving and notching the rod 6. Then the main parts of a plurality of coils formed by winding alloy wires are buried in the U-shape groove and termination portions of the coils are taken out through notches 8. The U-shape groove and the gaps of the coils are filled by magnetic material paste and the paste is dried. this filling and drying procedure is repeated until the upper surface of the magnetic material comes to the same level as the upper edges of the U-shape groove. Then excess termination portions of the coils are cut off and covered by the paste. Then, inductors are obtained by cutting the magnetic matierial rod thus composed into unit pieces and thenm baking.
