Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a coil having different shape from a winding conductor coil by forming air holes so connected as to circulate at the periphery in the insulator of chip shape and dipping conductive metal, e.g., Cu, Ag, etc. while shortcircuitting it partly for trimming thereat. CONSTITUTION:An insulator made of ferrite magnetic material containing mainly Fe or alumina is pulverized to powder, methyl cellulose or the like is added to the powder to paste state, the powder is formed in a sheet shape of desired thickness by a press molding machine, and is then dried as a chip-shaped insulator 1. While the powder is dried incompletely, a plurality of through holes 2, 2' are opened to obtain an inductance of desired coil, and grooves 3, 3' communicating with the holes are formed on the front and back surfaces. Thereafter, this insulator 1 is interposed between covers 5 and 5' of the same material, a hole 6 communicating with any of the holes to meet one coil is opened, is then baked to obtain a structure 10.
